The wait is finally over!  My article entitled “Intimate Partner and Intrafamilial Exploitation: How the Intersections of Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking can profoundly affect our Work” has been published by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) in the 2011 issue of The Voice: A Journal of the Battered Women’s Movement.

The article examines human trafficking by family members and intimate partners and how raising awareness about this form of abuse is crucial in both domestic violence and human trafficking fields.

You can find the article here, on p.42-45: http://shop.ncadv.org/inc/sdetail/116/11519.  There is a $10 fee to purchase the e-journal for non-NCADV members; however, there are a number of wonderful articles in the issue so it is definitely worth the cost!

I’ve also been told that you can search “the voice fall 2011 ncadv” online and find a link to the pdf of the article that way.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me for information regarding training and consultation I provide on this topic and others!
